North Dakota Heritage Center : ウィキペディア英語版 | North Dakota Heritage Center The North Dakota Heritage Center, located on the North Dakota State Capitol grounds in Bismarck, is the state of North Dakota's official history museum. The museum, which was opened in 1967 by the Heritage Center Commission,〔 〕 is operated by the State Historical Society of North Dakota and features permanent and temporary exhibits. In June 2008, the museum, which has been called a "''Hub of History"'', became home to a rare mummified dinosaur. ==Permanent exhibits==
*Corridor of Time, depicting what life was like in North Dakota millions of years ago. The USS North Dakota and Nautical North Dakota, featuring historic photographs and objects associated with the USS ''North Dakota'' battleship, this exhibit also includes objects and photographs of other vessels with North Dakota ties. The Birds of North Dakota. North Dakota is home to almost 200 species of birds, and also plays host to millions of migrating birds each year. This exhibit opens July 1, 2011.
